This is Freedom To Live Foundation’s once yearly fundraiser. Your support each year is the reason why we can continue to help people and their families who are living with a spinal cord injury or other catastrophic disability to live more independently at home again.
Meet Adam Hancock, Licensed Investment Advisor Representative and Branch Office Manager with Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc.
Adam Hancock is sponsoring a hole at this year’s Freedom To Live Golf Tournament and I hope many of you will have the opportunity to meet him.
Adam’s story is an incredible story that began with great tragedy and despair but today that story is a story of triumph, success and fulfillment. Adam has been a ventilator dependent quadriplegic since he was 22, over 22 years ago. I have personally known Adam for many many years and I can say he is definitely one of the smartest and most ethical and ambitious guys I know. As soon as Adam got to a place in his life that he finally had the opportunity to “LIVE” again (about 10 years ago) Adam didn’t waste a moment, he chose a path in finance and has been pursuing and building a very successful career ever since. Adam was a FTL recipient but now lives in his own home, is engaged to be married and is here at the FTL tournament as one of our sponsors.
Adam not only wants to share his financial planning and investing services (at ANY investing level) with our golfers, volunteers, friends and family but, also would like to introduce the opportunities for entrepreneurship that Transamerica offers to people who might desire to enter the field of financial services as an independent associate like Adam has done.
Thank you to all of our golfers, donors and sponsors this year. It is only a few days until the BIG day and John, myself and all the volunteers are so excited to make your day GREAT!!!!
Freedom To Live Foundation
A BIG Thank You!!
“On behalf of myself, John Schroeder, Gina Mcleod and ALL the recipients of the Freedom to Live Foundation thank you for your support of our 2015 FTL Golf Tournament. Our tournament not only directly funds our FTL Training Campuses in L.A each year but it has enabled us to raise awareness of our program in San Diego. We are happy to report that because of your support FTL is now able to plan the opening of our first “Freedom Home Training Campus” for those in need here in San Diego early in 2016. Our goal is for FTL to eventually purchase the training homes instead of relying on long term rental agreements. (please contact Sian Welch for more information about how you can be involved as “Freedom Partner” in 2016)
